Outreach
Our local population consists of not only individuals in shelters, but also a large number of people who live in “tent cities. We work to ensure they have food, clothing, and hygiene products, as well as help them to carry out trash from the sites. We also use donated durable medical equipment to help set up safe toilets for residents.
Here is a list of current needs for this part of the ministry:
- Small bottles of hygiene products
- Full size deodorant
- Toilet Paper
- Dental hygiene products
- First Aid items
- Lysol spray
- Tampons and Pads
- Underwear and bras (new)
- Heavy socks (new)
- Wash cloths
- Small jars of spices (cayenne is a big help with keeping away “critters”)
- Pop top can foods – meat and fruit cocktail is great!
- Blankets
- Pre-paid bus passes
- Freezer ziploc bags
- Water, water, water
